For people who would rather not wait
The ELP! Plan
A monthly plan that moves you to the front of the scheduling line and lowers what you pay when you do need something.
Most people call a lawyer for the first time on the worst day of the problem, and then wait two or three weeks for an appointment. The ELP! plan is a way to fix the waiting part in advance.
It is deliberately simple. You pay a monthly fee. In exchange, when you need an appointment or have a question, you are seen within a set number of business days, and you pay member rates for the work. That is the whole arrangement.
It is not insurance, and it does not include legal work. Nobody becomes a client by joining. If that sounds less exciting than what other legal plans advertise, that is on purpose — it is what the arrangement actually is.
Choose a response window
Your tier sets one window. It applies whether you are booking an appointment or submitting a written question through the portal. You can ELP! up — or back down — on the 1st of any month.
Standard
$25per month
5 business days
An appointment or a written answer within five business days. Non-members currently wait two to three weeks.
Priority
$50per month
3 business days
Three business days, for people who tend to need an answer inside the same week.
Express
$75per month
2 business days
Two business days. Suited to landlords, small businesses, and anyone with recurring time pressure.
Same Day
$100per month
Same business day
Request before 11:00 a.m. and you are seen or answered that day; after that, the next business day. Limited to two same-day requests a month.
Utah only. The ELP! plan is for Utah legal matters. ESQs Law is admitted in Utah only, and appointments are at the West Jordan office. If you are outside Utah but your matter is a Utah one — property, a case, or an estate here — call the office before joining and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
What every membership includes
- Your response window, for appointments and written questions alike.
- Member rates on every service the firm offers — the same rates at every tier.
- The Research Library: plain-language articles, checklists, and forms on Utah law, with a monthly search allowance.
- A secure portal account where your documents stay organized and available to you.
- Your membership fee waived for any month the firm is representing you in a contingency matter.
What it does not include
- Legal advice. The fee buys scheduling priority and library access, not legal work.
- Representation of any kind. Joining does not make the firm your lawyer.
- Any promise that the firm can take your matter. Every matter goes through a conflict check first.
- Free consultations, free documents, or free anything. Members pay less, not nothing.
A membership is not legal representation and does not create an attorney-client relationship. That begins only when you and the firm sign a separate written agreement for a specific matter, after a conflict check. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
How it works
- Join on any day. Your membership starts immediately at the five-business-day window, at no charge, through the end of that month.
- On the 1st, your card is charged for the month ahead and your tier's window takes effect. We email you three business days before that first charge.
- When you need something, request an appointment or submit a written question. We respond within your window, or that month is free.
- Want a faster window? ELP! up from your account page. Tier changes take effect on the 1st.
- Cancel any time from your account page. You keep access through the month you have paid for and are not charged again. No notice period, no cancellation fee.
